Meals on Wheels Community Services is a registered NPO (Non-profit Organisation) 070 786, owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, that is funded by the public.
Our aim is to address food security and poverty alleviation in South Africa, thus focussing on the basic needs of the poorest of the poor, the vulnerable, the disabled and the elderly and children in society. This is done by providing prepared meals on a daily basis at residences, service points and service centres. Individuals are also assisted with community based services and activities such as medical services, transport services, spiritual support and counselling, skills development workshops, and many more support services to contribute to self sustainability.
